I write about Ragdoll cats and the kitchen table — two things I never planned to combine, and now can’t imagine writing about separately. Every post here comes from something I’ve actually lived through with my own cats or cooked in my own pan.
My story
Ragdoll Cats Hub started as a small journal about my two Ragdolls — their moods, their vet visits, the odd things nobody tells you before you bring one home. Readers kept asking questions I didn’t have easy answers to, so I started researching properly: talking to breeders and vets, reading veterinary literature, and testing advice on my own cats before I’d ever publish it.
Somewhere along the way, the recipes crept in. Cat care is a lot of quiet time at home, and I filled it by cooking — mostly comfort food and simple weeknight meals I could actually finish while a Ragdoll was asleep on my lap. Readers liked those too, and the site grew into what it is now: honest writing about animals and food, from someone who tests everything before she recommends it.
I’m not a veterinarian and I don’t claim to be one — where health topics need a professional opinion, I say so and point readers toward one. What I offer instead is years of hands-on experience, careful research, and a website I run myself, top to bottom.
What I write about
Ragdoll Cats
Breed guides, temperament and behavior, grooming, health basics, kitten-proofing a home, and the small daily realities of living with one of the calmest, clingiest cat breeds around.
Recipes
Approachable, tested-at-home recipes — mostly comfort food, quick dinners, and baking — written the way I actually cook, with substitutions and honest notes on what worked and what didn’t.
My journey so far
Started Ragdoll Cats Hub
Began writing about life with my own Ragdolls — care routines, health questions, and everything I was learning in real time.
Grew into in-depth guides
Moved from personal updates to researched breed and care guides, working from veterinary sources and breeder conversations.
Added the recipe side of the site
Started sharing the recipes I was cooking at home, tested and rewritten until they were worth publishing.
How I work
